For over 30 years, the Tarrytown Volunteer Ambulance Corps (TVAC) has provided the Village of Tarrytown with reliable emergency life support service 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The Challenge TVAC operates with no money from taxes. It depends on the donations of local residents and businesses, as well as insurance recovery, to maintain equipment and cover the costs of operation. But TVAC’s greatest asset - and the most difficult to maintain - is the trained, volunteer staff. Here’s where you can make a wonderful difference. We need your time, just a few hours a week, to help us better serve Tarrytown.
The Solution To meet this challenge, the Corps will work with interested volunteers to create time slots and types of service that will allow a wider range of residents, like yourself, to get involved.
